Join Chevron Phillips Chemical in a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping the future of our EMEA Aromatics business. The Senior Manager, Business - EMEA Aromatics drives commercial strategy, revenue growth, margin optimization, and operational excellence across a diverse regional portfolio. Working closely with customers, supply chain partners, and global stakeholders, this position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on business performance while supporting long-term growth and sustainability objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the gathering and incorporates data, research, market analysis, and client analysis to inform product strategies and drive decision-making effectively.
  • Creates a robust new product pipeline grounded in consumer insights, market needs, and company capabilities, to drive sales.
  • Drives strategic, operational, and organizational improvements across the company with the goal of maximizing impact on both the internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Develops a deep understanding of customer behavior and insights and execute strategies to accelerate product adoption and improve engagement with the product.
  • Plans and drives sales and marketing activities to achieve business targets, and evaluate the effectiveness of the activities.
  • Oversees and ensures new products meet financial and operational hurdles.
  • Reviews product family margins, costs, and pricing on a regular basis and recommends price increases or decreases.
  • Understands drivers of the P&L and supports cross-functional initiatives to improve product margin while maintaining product quality.
  • Defines pricing and volume management to achieve business targets and optimize asset utilization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemical Science/Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 15 years related industry experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of prior Commercial experience

  • Enterprise leadership, teamwork, and communication skills; ability to lead a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to assess market data and develop/execute a strategy
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the demonstrated ability to build relationships and effectively communicate and collaborate across organizational boundaries at all levels
  • Exceptional capability for self-management and learning agility
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Experience with styrene, benzene or cyclohexane and derivatives of each
  • 10+ years of commercial experience and strong business acumen
