Systems and Programs Manager Integrated Risk Management – Safety Operations: Exempt
Responsibilities include enterprise support across all Business Units by guiding onsite Safety and Management personnel and Operations leaders in continuous improvement initiatives. The primary focus is on risk mitigation through reducing injuries/illnesses and property exposures, driving sustainability in all processes to achieve prevention and regulatory compliance.
Provide leadership and foster a safe work environment through proactive prevention and compliance programs, engaging key stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes for team members and safeguard the organization’s reputation.
Implement and enhance safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Develop, plan, and execute comprehensive safety programs and processes to meet or exceed OSHA, EPA, RCRA, and other regulatory requirements. Collaborate with Operations Leadership to drive performance improvements by addressing risks that impact prevention and compliance. Analyze safety trends, develop improvement strategies, and assess evolving work environments to identify and eliminate or minimize hazards. Implement Safety Management Systems, monitor Key Performance Indicators using digital tools (Power BI, Paragon, Safety Events), and support activities during Cross-Functional Cluster Audits and Social Compliance Audits to ensure full regulatory compliance.
Oversee assigned safety staff and act as a resource for management and team members regarding safety standards, policies, and compliance.
