Ads Engineering builds the platforms, services, APIs, and seller experiences that power advertising on eBay, including campaign workflows, dashboards and reporting, public APIs, selling flows, and foundational systems that help sellers and advertisers grow their businesses.
MarTech Engineering develops the platforms and capabilities that drive customer marketing and lifecycle engagement across eBay, including customer marketing platforms, performance marketing, marketing implementation systems, and the technical foundations that support personalized, measurable, and scalable customer engagement.
Together, these teams build products, platforms, and workflows crafted to support sellers in growing their businesses. They also enable advertisers to meet their goals and connect customers to the right inventory at the right time. Their work spans frontend applications, backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and modern engineering practices, in close partnership with Product, Development, Analytics, Applied Science, and program leadership.
As a senior engineering leader, you will participate in architecture discussions, review production code, influence platform strategy, and help engineering teams navigate complex technical challenges while promoting a high-performance engineering culture. You will lead teams responsible for building and evolving critical platforms that power experiences for millions of users globally.
