Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related curriculum or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Advanced degree may offset experience requirement by two years. 8 years relevant experience to include at least four (4) years experience in the business aviation industry in one or more of the following areas: sales support, legal, engineering, services, flight operations, marketing or completions. Position PurposeEffectively lead the Account Development team in providing territory development, lead-generation activities, competitive intelligence and CRM sales metrics for the worldwide sales team. Lead the development of account sales strategy through extensive research on industries, companies, individuals and flight department operations. Support the efforts in maintaining account and contact records to ensure data integrity of the enterprise-level, cross functional, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:
  1. Manage the lead-generation activities for the worldwide sales team. Create, analyze and prioritize prospecting lists to provide a pipeline of high-probability leads for the sales organization.
  2. Lead the development strategies to engage with high-probability prospects with the goal of transitioning well-qualified, near-term sales opportunities to the appropriate sales executive for closure. .
  3. Conduct extensive research on companies and individuals to assist the sales team in the development of their account sales strategy. Research could include company profiles, biographies, board memberships, financial performance, aircraft ownership and flight operations. .
  4. Have a thorough understanding of the worldwide new aircraft sales team and customer base. Maintain working relationships with the entire sales team to include charter/management companies, consultants, financial institutions, international sales representatives, etc. .
  5. Identify and alert the sales team of conditions or changes with companies and individuals in the territory that could result in possible sales opportunities. .
  6. Track and maintain sales metrics to support the business needs for the assigned sales division such as sign-ups, progress payments, deliveries, backlog risk assessments, etc. Provide reports to sales management.
  7. Support the data governance efforts of the CRM system across the enterprise to ensure consistency and quality of data input and data maintenance.
  8. Supports reporting requirements and special projects as required. to support the new aircraft sales team, senior management and the parent company .
  9. Manage and interact with outside consultants to accomplish research studies as required.
  10. Maintain and exhibit fiscal responsibility to meet the overall budget of the group .

  2. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to lead, interact with, focus, resolve conflict and drive consensus among individuals.
  3. Strong communication skills with an ability to efficiently and productively communicate both orally and in writing.
