This locationis part of our Prepared Foods Division.As a Maintenance Technician, youwill have the opportunity to work cross-functionally across every area of ourfacilityand influence company performance bymaintainingour equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team.
Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
Effectively interact with all plant personnel toaccomplishplant and individual goals.
Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.
Requirements:
Education and Experience: At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience OR 1 year of industrial maintenance experience education (e.g.,possessindustrialmaintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience.
Applicants will be considered for Associate Maintenance Technicians, General Maintenance Technicians, and Sr MaintenanceTechnicianslevel openings.
Levelingdeterminedduring the interview process based on skillset, knowledge, and experience.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation. Ability to learn andutilizethe Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Communication Skills: Effective communication and basic math skillsrequired
Special Skills:
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift 20 lbs.frequently
Ability to stand ona hard surfacefor up to 12 hours per day.
Ability to work in confined and tall spaces, walk, climb,utilizea ladder,operatea lift, bend, and stoop.
Repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling.
Frequent overhead work.
Temperatures inside the plant may vary from -25 degrees to over 100 degrees; outside work may also be needed.
Basic math skills, including percentages, fractions, and measurements.
