Senior Machinist

Cooling performance limits high-power computing, semi-conductorfab, cell networks, photonics, power electronics, and most of our digital world. Patented Stack Forging™ process enables complex micro-geometries, resulting in single-piece, leak-tight parts that deliver superior cooling performance, lower pressure drops, and exceptional reliability.

About the role

As a Senior Machinist you willbe responsible forthe programming and operation of in-house CNC shop. This person will provide feedback to the Solutions Delivery and Production teamsregardingpartfeasibility,and machinability while finding creative and scalable solutions to support Stack Forging process. This is a critical role in production operation, influencing the manufacturing process ofnearly everypart delivered.

This role requires 5 days onsite per week.

Responsibilities

*Responsibilities are subject to change based on shifting business needs.

  • Engage with Technical Sales and Solutions Engineering in feasibility discussions, offering feedback tofacilitatethe manufacturing of customer parts.

  • Program and cut parts, purchasematerialsand tooling. (CAMWorksexperience strongly preferred)

  • Identifyand implement novel fixturing solutions for parts that will be difficult to indicate repeatably

  • Cooperatively work with the Solutions Delivery, Production, and Quality Teams to correctly dimension drawings and create datums that will match manufacturing workflows

  • Generateaccurateforecasting and scheduling of production work

  • Stay digitally organized, updating work statuses, best practices for file storage and traceability

Whatyou’llbring

  • 5-7+ years of CNC Programming and Machining experience including toolingselectionand setup

  • Experience in setup and machining of castings or other parts where each piece of starting material is slightly different

  • Experience in setup and machining of parts that have been 3D printed

  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments to verify product quality

  • Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving in a machining environment

  • Experience with the development and execution of programming, processing, operational/set-up sheets, and work instructions as related to the manufacturing of ordersutilizingour ISO procedures

  • Experience developing manufacturing plans for high-volume production

SALARY RANGE $54,000 - $81,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
