Under the general direction of the Practice Manager, Clinical Director, and Lead MD, this role serves as the clinic-level supervisor overseeing all nursing and clinical services. The supervisor is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care in alignment with the standards of the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians, while also managing key administrative functions that support daily operations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population under the supervision of designated clinical staff, recognizing both routine and emergency conditions.
Oversee and coordinate clinic operations, including patient flow, staffing adjustments, and adherence to established workflows.
Supervise, train, and evaluate nursing staff, ensuring clinical competencies are maintained and professional standards are upheld.
Monitor and support quality assurance initiatives, including compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Manage clinical supply inventory and administrative processes to support efficient practice operations.
Review and approve staff timesheets, conduct performance evaluations, and maintain annual competency records.
Partner with the Ambulatory Nursing Team to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality patient care and optimal clinic performance.
