Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corovan Anywhere, the Sr. Logistics Account Sales Specialist cultivates and strengthens strategic relationships with clients, Corovan sales personnel, service partners, and vendors. This role serves as a trusted contact to customers, combining logistics expertise, commercial insight, and relationship management skills to deliver solutions that create value for both the client and the organization.

Serving as the primary point of contact for commercial moving, storage, and logistics requirements outside of California, this role partners with sales personnel to support their clients' out-of-state needs, managing opportunities from initial inquiry through successful completion.

As a trusted advisor, the Sr. Logistics Account Sales Specialist owns the customer experience and works to achieve an optimal financial outcome of each engagement including providing pricing for projects with revenue and margin in mind, coordinating service partners and vendors, overseeing execution, and intervening to proactively prevent or avoid service failures. Across an assigned book of accounts, this role applies logistics expertise and consultative selling to onboard new customers, strengthen existing relationships, and expand revenue and profitability within them.

Success requires exceptional responsiveness, business acumen, communication skills, and attention to detail to ensure both client experience and profitability are maximized. By delivering a superior customer experience and measurable business value, this role builds customer loyalty, generates repeat business, and contributes to the growth of Corovan Anywhere. This position is an individual contributor role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Relationship Management & Customer Success:

  • Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned customers, Corovan sales personnel, service partners, and vendors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and key stakeholders across customer, vendor, and OMA partner organizations.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to strengthen relationships, confirm satisfaction, and surface future opportunities. Anticipate customer needs and devise solutions that enhance service and deliver additional value.
  • Manage customer expectations, balancing service requirements against operational capabilities and business objectives. Provide expertise to proactively resolve operational situations.
  • Resolve customer concerns and service failures promptly, escalating matters that require management attention.
  • Champion the voice of the customer by fostering collaboration among customers, vendors, service partners, and internal stakeholders.

Revenue Growth, Profitability & Account Development:

  • Maintain accountability for a minimum annual revenue portfolio of $1.5 million while continually growing account value and profitability.
  • Understand customer needs and their business demands, communicating ways for Corovan Anywhere to service them.
  • Execute account strategies that increase revenue, gross margin, retention, and share of customer spend.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand services and increase client utilization of Corovan Anywhere solutions, with emphasis on large projects and recurring business.
  • Act as a knowledgeable liaison between Corovan Anywhere and its customers, suggesting solutions that advance customer objectives while generating value for Corovan Anywhere.
  • Leverage industry knowledge, market trends, and customer insight to position Corovan Anywhere as a preferred business partner.
  • Cultivate trusted-advisor relationships that produce repeat business, referrals, and long-term loyalty.
  • Maintain confidentiality on pricing methodology.
  • Engage with management and sales internally to ensure department revenue and margin growth are maximized.

Sales Duties

  • Partner with Corovan sales teams and account executives to recognize missed opportunities within an order and recommend additional service lines.
  • Work directly with clients to complete all required Corovan Anywhere Order Entry and Change Order documentation for each project.
  • Develop proposals with detailed scope that matches quoted charges.
  • Verify creditworthiness and coordinate with the Corovan Credit team on approvals and collections.
  • Build mutually productive relationships with vendors and OMA partners on every applicable opportunity.

Logistics & Transaction Management

  • Manage commercial moving, storage, and logistics opportunities from initial inquiry through final invoicing and project completion.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent transactions, ensuring each is executed efficiently, accurately, and profitably.
  • Coordinate the operational, pricing, accounting, vendor, and customer service activities required for successful service delivery.
  • Process customer orders and change orders in accordance with established company processes and practices.
  • Support both recurring and one-time customers across domestic and international requirements.
  • Facilitate communication among customers, sales representatives, service providers, vendors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor transactional service data on a daily and weekly basis, proactively addressing issues that may affect customer satisfaction, profitability, or execution.
  • Establish and maintain a common set of expectations between Corovan Anywhere, operations, and sales on scope and valuation, document utilization, shipment inventory and preparation, and communicates standards regarding:
    • Best practice for Corovan requirements.
    • Preparation and other standards.
    • Team mentality in customer satisfaction.
    • Confidentiality of sensitive data such as pricing.
  • Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with customer requirements, company standards, and contractual commitments.
  • Pricing, Solution Development and Business Analysis
  • Analyze customer requirements, operational considerations, market conditions, and costs to develop competitive and profitable pricing strategies
  • Suggest customer-focused solutions that balance service quality, responsiveness, and value against profitability objectives.
  • Alongside management, present pricing or service solutions to customers, executives, and other interested parties through written proposals and oral presentations.
  • Evaluate sales, operational, and financial data to support informed recommendations and sound business decisions.
  • Identify service enhancements, process improvements, and operational efficiencies that improve the customer experience.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Review logistics performance with customers against targets, benchmarks, and service agreements.
  • Monitor account performance metrics and recommend actions that improve customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain project management tools such as plans, schedules, and responsibility and compliance matrices.
  • Communicate trends, risks, customer concerns, and market intelligence to the Logistics Department and management.
  • Comply with and promote adherence to company policies and procedures.

Training:

  • Train new Corovan salespeople on logistics operations to ensure a smooth sales process and the best value for the customer.
  • Serve as a subject matter resource on logistics solutions, customer requirements, and service partner capabilities.
  • Promote Corovan’s Mission and Vision Statements.
  • Participate in ongoing training and assist with training new employees through cross-functional collaboration between locations.
  • Continuously promote compliance with company policies and procedures.

Safety:

  • Ensure the highest standards of safety, productivity and customer service are exceeded daily.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • Associate’s Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five (5) or more years' experience in a client-facing role, including two (2) or more years in sales or account management. Two (2) or more years’ experience in the logistics, transportation, supply chain, or commercial moving industries required. Experience in the commercial moving or office relocation industry strongly preferred
  • Experience in sales data collection and analysis.
  • Familiarity developing pricing or quoting customer solutions, including cost analysis and markup application.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a book of business or account portfolio.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including MS Excel and MS Word.

Preferred:

  • Seven or more years of experience in commercial moving, office relocation, or logistics services.
  • Demonstrated logistics experience in the commercial moving or office relocation industry.
  • Demonstrated experience of crafting optimal revenue and gross margin outcomes.
  • Experience with multi-state or interstate moving operations, including agent or partner network coordination.
  • Experience developing pricing or quoting customer solutions, including cost analysis and markup application.
