Job

The Senior Litigation &ComplianceParalegalis responsible formonitoring andassistingwith all litigation matters and discoveryissues, as well as providing support for operational and compliance initiatives

Responsibleforreceivingserviceofprocessandcoordinatingwiththird-partyadjustersandoutsidecounselonlitigation matters.Responsible for monitoring and responding to all administrative complaints.Responsible for managing e-billing and case management software, including necessary reporting for budgets.Responsible for supportingoperational and complianceinitiatives and serving as the LegalDepartmentpoint of contact for records management and records retention issues.

DutiesandResponsibilities(otherdutiesasassigned)

  • Monitor andassistwith management of litigation matters (coordinating with outside counsel on all cases, includinge-discoveryissuesanddiscoveryresponses,performinginitialreviewsofpleadings,andparticipatinginstrategydiscussions)

  • Coordinate responses to subpoenasand law enforcement requests

  • Investigateandrespondtoalladministrativecharges,includingEEOCcharges,wageclaims,and coordinate responses to subpoenas and garnishments

  • Overseepreparation,managementandmaintenanceofe-billingandcasemanagementsoftware,legalfiles,legalinvoices, andlegalcontracts

  • Providesupporttofurtheroperational and complianceinitiativesandserveastheLegalDepartmentpointofcontactforrecordsmanagement and records retention issues
