General Description
To act as primary operational engine of legal department, ensuring high quality legal deliverables and building scalable systems in an agile environment. This role requires “proactive owner” who minimize the needs for senior supervision by providing finalized, business-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Contract Lifecycle Management. Independently draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
2. Legal Business Partnering. Act as dedicated advisor to product and business teams, providing risk- mitigated alternative that enable growth rather than simply stating legal constraints.
3. Process Architecture. Identify gaps in current “unclear” workflows and revisit SOPs, legal playbooks and automated templates to improve department efficiency.
4. Regulatory & Compliance Oversight. Monitor and interpret evolving regulations e.g., OJK, Komdigi, Trade Ministry, and translate them into actionable compliance checklists for the company.
5. Supervision & Quality Control. Review work of junior legal officers to ensure all drafts reaching Manager/ Head level are technically sound and error-free.

Required Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor of Laws (SH).
2. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in a combined background of a top-tier law firm and in-house legal role.
3. Technical Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in contract drafting and negotiation (English and Indonesian) with focus on commercial tech agreements.
• Strong grasp of Indonesian digital regulations e.g., PMSE, data privacy.
• Legal Tech Savvy. Proficiency in utilizing AI tools and contract management systems to optimize legal workflows and research

4. Soft Skills and Competencies:

• Extreme Autonomy. Proven ability to operate with minimal supervision and exercise sound legal- commercial judgment under pressure.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: A “business enabler” approach ability to provide solutions (opsi A/B/C) rather than just identifying legal roadblocks.
• High Attention to Detail. A “zero error” tolerance for drafting, formatting and administrative compliance.
• Effective Communication. Ability to translate complex legal matters into clear, actionable advice for C- suite and non-legal stakeholders.

5. Adaptability. Comfortable working in an “unclear system” and possessing the initiative to build SOPs and frameworks where they don’t yet exist
