The Role

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Sr. IT Tech Specialist to lead our IT infrastructure, drive information security practices, manage data privacy obligations, and ensure regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, especially in Microsoft 365 environments, and a solid grasp of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.


IT Operations Management


  • Manage and support all core IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 (Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Endpoint Manager).

  • Administer user provisioning, device policies, license management, and security configurations in M365.

  • Oversee helpdesk operations and ensure timely resolution of IT issues across the organization.

  • Maintain IT asset inventory, enforce usage policies, and manage vendor relationships.


Information Security


  • Implement and monitor security tools and practices including firewalls, endpoint protection, MFA, data loss prevention, and threat detection.

  • Lead periodic risk assessments and vulnerability reviews.

  • Drive awareness and training on cybersecurity best practices for all employees.


Data Privacy & Compliance


  • Ensure adherence to applicable data privacy laws (e.g., DPDP Act, GDPR) and security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001).

  • Maintain comprehensive audit logs, documentation, and compliance checklists.

  • Support and lead IT-related internal and external audits.


Governance & Risk Management


  • Develop and update IT policies, SOPs, and access management controls.

  • Collaborate with HR, Legal, and Business teams to uphold data governance and privacy requirements.

  • Report regularly to leadership on IT risks, mitigation strategies, and compliance status.


Requirements


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 7–9 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, and/or security.

  • Hands-on expertise in Microsoft 365 administration and security configurations.

  • Strong working knowledge of IT security, data protection regulations, and compliance frameworks.


Preferred Certifications


  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, SC-300, or AZ-104)

  • CISA, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or ITIL certification is a plus.


Desirable Traits


  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.

  • Proactive in identifying risks and resolving root causes.

  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.

  • Clear communication skills for both technical and business audiences.
