Company is seeking a proactive experienced IT Support Specialist (Contractor) to join our IT team and help deliver a seamless, reliable employee technology experience across the company. This is a hands-on, broad-scope role responsible for day-to-day IT operations, employee support, endpoint management, onboarding and offboarding, device lifecycle management, and operational process improvement.
The successful candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, a customer-first mindset, and a bias toward action. You should be comfortable jumping directly into technical issues while also building the systems, documentation, automation, and repeatable processes needed to scale IT support efficiently over time.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong ownership, proactively identifies and solves problems, continuously improves processes, eliminates operational inefficiencies, and helps build scalable IT practices that improve the overall employee experience.
Position Responsibilities:
● Administer and support cloud-based platforms and services, including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Google Workspace, Jamf, Intune, and related systems.
● Provide day-to-day technical support to employees for computers, printers, basic networking, internal systems, software, and hardware.
● Support and troubleshoot conference rooms and AV systems, including Google Meet and Zoom Rooms.
● Manage identity and access administration through Google Workspace and related platforms, including SSO configuration, MFA enforcement, group provisioning, SCIM integrations, and user lifecycle workflows.
● Own onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring employees have timely, secure, and reliable access to required systems and devices.
● Manage device lifecycle operations, including procurement support, imaging, deployment, inventory, logistics, maintenance, and decommissioning.
● Build scripts, integrations, and lightweight automation tools to improve IT operations and reduce manual work.
● Maintain accurate documentation for site systems, asset inventory, and standard operating procedures.
● Develop operational runbooks to enable consistent, repeatable support across common IT workflows.
● Contribute to process improvement, documentation, and knowledge sharing to increase IT operational maturity and scalability.
● Partner with IT, Security, Facilities, and business teams to resolve issues and improve the employee technology experience.
Position Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
● 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT operations, technical support, systems administration, or a related role.
● Experience supporting conference rooms and AV environments, including Google Meet and Zoom Rooms.
● Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace administration, including users, groups, organizational units, Drive, and security settings.
● Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID / Azure AD administration.
● Hands-on scripting and automation experience using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar tools.
● Strong macOS support experience, including hardware, operating system, application troubleshooting, and endpoint management.
● Experience with device management platforms such as Intune, Jamf, and Apple Business Manager.
● Working knowledge of networking fundamentals and basic network troubleshooting.
● Strong documentation skills, including the ability to create clear SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
● Strong customer-service orientation and a passion for improving the employee experience.
● Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
● Must be willing to work onsite five days per week.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr.
