We pride ourselves on fostering an environment where we make a positive impact on others; upholding our beliefs in integrity, inclusion and belonging.We are seeking an Sr. IT Business Analyst with hands-on experience in Salesforce.This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, translating business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions that improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and data quality.The Senior IT Business Analyst brings deep functional knowledge of Salesforce platforms and strong business analysis skills to support both project-based initiatives and ongoing production applications. This role is responsible for requirements definition, solution design support, testing coordination, and continuous improvement across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and related integrations.This is a full-time, direct-hire, salaried position that will work onsite from our HNI's newly renovated IT building in Muscatine, IA.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESBusiness Analysis & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Collaborate continuously with stakeholders to understand processes, needs, and goals.
  • Elicit and iteratively refine business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  • Identify pain points and opportunities to enhance efficiency and user experience with a human-centered mindset.
  • Advice and consult on Salesforce solutions aligning with business goals and best practices.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language to facilitate shared understanding.

Salesforce Solution Design & Configuration Support

  • Evaluate Salesforce capabilities and limitations to recommend appropriate solutions leveraging native platform functionality.
  • Support solution design by creating functional specifications, configuration documentation, and design artifacts.
  • Collaborate on user stories and acceptance criteria that focus on user needs and support iterative development.
  • Create wireframes and prototypes applying human-centered design to gather feedback and guide Agile refinement.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Salesforce administration and configuration concepts to effectively collaborate with technical teams.

Delivery Lifecycle & Testing

  • Collaborate with Agile and Kanban teams on backlog grooming, sprint and flow planning, and incremental delivery.
  • Partner with product owners, developers, and testers to support continuous testing efforts, including sprint level validations and user acceptance testing (UAT) support to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Facilitate workshops to refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and process automation opportunities.
  • Support continuous testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Assist with release planning, change management, and adoption through iterative feedback loops.

Integration, Data & Platform Knowledge

  • Support initiatives involving Salesforce data migration, integration, and synchronization with upstream and downstream systems.
  • Understand and document data flows, system interfaces, and integration dependencies.
  • Collaborate with integration and data teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and usability.

Governance, Standards & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of team standards, best practices, and documentation.
  • Support adherence to system governance, security, and release management processes.
  • Partner with external vendors and implementation partners to deliver solutions aligned with HNI standards.
  • Provide ongoing support for production applications, including issue analysis and resolution of non-recurring problems.

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of combined experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role supporting enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce platforms, including administration and basic configuration.
  • Strong experience supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget), and/or Experience Cloud.
  • Experience writing user stories, functional requirements, and process documentation.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Business Analyst, or platform-specific certifications).
  • Experience utilizing AI-driven tools to streamline business analysis processes.
  • Understanding of system release management, implementation, and user adoption practices.
  • Experience with data migration, integrations, and API-based system interactions.
  • Experience working with external vendors or system integrators.
