
This role plays a critical role in managing investor relationships, supporting public company communications, and supporting the infrastructure needed to operate a best-in-class investor relations program. Supports investor relations activities while partnering closely with the SVP of Finance & Investor Relations and executive leadership to shape and communicate investment narrative. Engages investors and analysts in ongoing dialogue to build a trust-based relationship; applies appropriate frequency and responsiveness to inquiries consistent with appropriate levels of transparency and SEC requirements. Responsibilities involve investor targeting, messaging, and leading the presentation creation and outreach. Develops a deep understanding of analyst and investor models and perceptions, synthesizing market feedback to inform messaging and engagement strategy.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partners with the SVP, Finance & IR, CFO, and the broader leadership team to develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with analysts and investors.
Owns and maintains investor targeting approach and list of target investors to bring new interest into JACK stock ownership and appropriately manage management’s time in front of these potential investors.
Plans and manages investor events, meetings, conferences, roadshows and conference calls; facilitates internal/legal review of information shared at investor conferences and analyst days.
Develops strong company and sector expertise to understand strategic, operational and financial developments, as well as the evolving financial services, digital assets, and regulatory landscape.
Owns earnings process logistics, ensuring seamless coordination internally, with external vendors, and across our investment community.
Builds and maintains cross-functional relationships and collaborates with various functional areas (i.e., Finance, Communications, Legal, Marketing, Product etc.) to develop investor narrative that authentically promotes the Company and its outlook in a consistent and coordinated manner.
Serves as a spokesperson, representing the company and working with the executive team, the Company’s Board of Directors, and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Executes business-related press strategy; oversees and/or prepares financial press releases, maintaining Company presentations and annual/quarterly financial reports.
Serves as an internal consultant in synthesizing and communicating strategic information to multiple stakeholders (e.g. investors, media) from a “big picture” interpretation; provides insights that impact key business decisions.
Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned and directed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education – Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Finance, Economics or related field required.
Experience – 5+ years relevant investor relations experience. Preference for capital markets experience or strong capital markets relationships.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Deep expertise in capital markets.
Experience and familiarity with governance requirements for investor relations professionals, inclusive of Reg FD.
Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities, with the ability to translate complex business, financial, and industry dynamics into clear, compelling messaging for investors and analysts.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills along with exceptional influencing and team leadership skills with capability of building collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
Applies critical thinking to solving problems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to distill complex information and deliver analyses in a concise and logical manner.
Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex issues.
Capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced and changing work environment.
Proficient knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office 365 (i.e., Word, Excel).
Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior.
Physical Requirements - Ability to speak/hear clearly in person and on the telephone. Ability to type on a computer keyboard. Ability to travel approximately 20% - 30% of time as business needs require.

The range for this position is $139,900 - $196,100 and is based on an employee located at our corporate headquarters in San Diego. If the candidate is hired in a different city to work remote, we will apply a geographic pay differential based on the cost of labor in the market in which the employee resides.
