Education Requirement Bachelor’s degree (mandatory) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management or Administrative field

Is the person in charge of the execution of operational audits across different areas of NRFM, NRFS and ANZE by identifying risks, assessing controls and documenting findings, in alignment e with the annual Audit plan, taking into consideration the Internal Auditing Standards; as well as other applicable global, regional, local standards and procedures as well as regulation. Additionally, the role includes performing quarterly financial statement variance analysis. The position contributes to building brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth.

A Day in the Life:

  • Plan and initiate audit or consulting engagements by defining audit objectives, developing audit programs, and formally notifying the audited areas.
  • Prepare the audit notification to the audited areas, on the general aspects of the audit.
  • Perform the audit kick-off
  • Conduct process reviews through interviews, walkthroughs, and risk and control assessments to evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Develop the risk and control matrix to identify the tests applicable to the process to be audited
  • Execute audit testing to assess control effectiveness, data integrity, and the reliability of key business processes.
  • Follow-up on the information request to the process owners.
  • Inform the audited personnel of the control deficiencies identified in the processes and obtain action plans.
  • Develops recommendations to improve controls.
  • Prepare the draft of the audit report, which includes the results of the audits carried out on the processes.
  • Presents audit findings to Internal Audit management to discuss conclusions and recommendations.
  • Follow up on the remediation plans proposed by the process owners.
  • Analyze if the evidence and/or information sent by the process owners support the status of the remediation plan.
  • Perform periodic reviews of Asset-Backed Securitization (ABS) programs or Quaterly analysis of variation of the Financial Statments, in accordence with the applicable regulations

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (mandatory) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management or Administrative field
  • 2 years in Internal or External Audit or in Internal Control/Compliance.
  • Internal or External Audit, Internal Control process / Accounting and finance skills.
  • Language: English (written and spoken business level) TOEIC 700 pts mandatory

Desirable

  • Knowledge in SOX-JSOX
  • Course/CertificationsCIA, CFE, CPA, PLD (CNBV) or related to the IIA
