Job Description

The Sr. Information Management Specialist / Operations Manager II oversees enterprise information workflows, data governance, records management, and operational support functions. The role ensures compliance with federal standards while optimizing information lifecycle processes and supporting mission operations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage information governance, data lifecycle activities, and records management processes.
  • Oversee operational workflows, personnel tasking, and resource allocation across functional areas.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, DoD, and organizational data management policies.
  • Develop SOPs, process documentation, and operational performance metrics.
  • Provide briefings and updates to leadership on operational and information management status.
  • Coordinate system access, permissions, and data quality reviews.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.


Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, IT, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in information management or operations management.
  • Experience with federal or DoD information governance policies.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with DODAF, NARA, FOIA, or metadata frameworks.
  • Prior operations leadership experience.

Clearance Requirements

  • Secret or

Certifications

  • ITIL Foundation preferred.
  • PMP or CAPM a plus.
