From the quality of materials, fit, feel and finish to the thoughtfulness of use, the Electrolux Group designs products for all the senses, and the role the Design team plays ensures that every experience has that human connection. As a member of our Industrial Design Team, you will contribute to our bigger goal of making a positive impact on people’s everyday lives, one product at a time.

What you’ll do:

As a Senior Industrial Designer, you will lead the creation of impactful consumer products from early concepts to market launch. You will drive cross‑category design projects, balancing hands‑on craft with growing strategic leadership. Your work will span creative workshops, concept development, and full-scale execution, always rooted in user‑centered, sustainable, and innovative thinking. Working closely with R&D, Product Line, MKT, and functional teams, you will deliver manufacturable products that blend aesthetics, performance, usability, and cost. If you have exceptional design skills, strong technical understanding of materials and production processes this is your chance! Help Electrolux keep shaping living for the better, and we'll help you go further than you ever thought possible.

In detail, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end industrial design for assigned projects, aligning outcomes with global design strategy, brand vision, and higher brand value (human-centric + sustainability).
  • Generate and evolve innovative concepts through sketching, ideation, rapid visualization, and facilitated creative workshops/concept sprints.
  • Set project agendas, facilitate team conversations, synthesize diverse inputs, and provide clear design direction—adapting perspectives based on new information.
  • Translate user insights, brand strategy, and technical constraints into compelling product solutions using expert-level 3D/CAD tools and high-quality surface modeling.
  • Apply deep manufacturing/materials knowledge to deliver innovative, feasible, and cost-effective designs; stay current and proactively explore new tools, technologies, methods, and trends.
  • Build, evaluate, and iterate appearance/functional prototypes with model makers and prototyping teams to refine form, ergonomics, and usability; produce production-ready data.
  • Collaborate seamlessly across global, cross-functional teams and with external suppliers/manufacturers; ensure design intent through engineering/manufacturing while managing timelines, deliverables, stakeholders, and mentoring junior designers.

As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EAI – Electrolux Always Improve).

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or equivalent (Masters is a plus);
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, cost implications and design for production.
  • Solid experience in industrial/product design, with a portfolio showcasing launched products.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, Rhino, Alias and KeyShot as well as sketching, rendering, and 3D modeling skills.
  • Proven track record of leading design projects from concept to production.
  • Applicants must submit for analysis a portfolio or personal website with relevant material: demonstrating the design process, including Concept sketches, 3D CAD development, Prototypes and testing, Final production products, etc. (Submit with CV).
  • Fluent in English in writing and speaking (other languages is a plus).

Where you’ll be:

You will be based at the Guabirotuba plant in Curitiba. One of the focal points for all Latin American Electrolux operations, this plant is the base for over 3200 collaborators, all focused on transforming the way the world lives by shaping lives for the better with their work.

In order to create a culture of inclusion and care for everyone's wellbeing, we offer the following benefits:
