Identify, lead & drive efficiency improvement projects to reduce the conversion cost; set and control the manufacturing standard time, and conduct capacity planning based on the standards and demand input.
Responsibilities
Space planning for short-term & long-term according to production requirements
- Production line relocation as business needed
- New plant/workshop Layout design
- Optimize the plant/workshop layout to improve space utilization
Ensure all machine investment are aligned with company business developing expectations
- Identify capacity improvement opportunities & drive improvement plan
- Lead capacity improvement opportunities with IE tools
Upgrade the productivity and achieve cost control target
- Identify, lead & drive efficiency improvement projects to reduce the conversion cost;
- Set and control the manufacturing standard time, and conduct capacity planning based on the standards and demand input
- Attend product design review meeting, and provide valuable input as IE expert.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent education with IE major
- Familiar with MS office software
- Familiar with Auto-CAD drawing
- 4+ years on industrial engineering experience, lean/6 six sigma related
- Have independent project leader experience
- Layout for exist and new expansion, Optimize the plant/workshop layout to improve space utilization
- Capacity forecast and adjustment, analysis improvement opportunity and make investment proposal
- Lead labor efficiency & line balance improve/optimization
- Involve key project detail design of machine/material/process
- Deep understand of IE toolset, such as ECRS/Time study/cell design
