WhatYou’llDo

You'llwork individually and in teams tosupport capital projectsand implement solutionsfor ourclientsTogether, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.

  • Experience in executing projects for the Refining, Gas Transmission or Petrochemical industries with the highest level of quality, cost effectiveness, and a focus on safety

  • Work with other licensed engineers and experienced designers to develop instrument specifications and PLC, SCADA, and DCS based control systems for industrial facilities.

  • Excellent communication skills and be able to work with other engineering disciplines, sometimes across multiple offices.

  • Instrumentation and control system engineering design for industrial, manufacturing, and utilities projects.

  • Specifications including calculations for flow meters, analyzers, transmitters, and other fieldinstruments;mustunderstand area classification.

  • Perform control system studies including troubleshooting existing control systems, new system conceptualdesignand control system retrofits.

  • Develop controls/instrumentation engineering documentation including detailed instrument specifications andselection, logic diagrams, loop sheets, instrument lists, I/O lists, and instrumentation plan drawings.

  • Superviseandcoordinatinginstrumentation/controls engineering/design efforts on multi-discipline engineering projects.

  • Field support including on-site design, technical support,commissioning,and construction management.

  • Provide project management for projects that are primarily instrumentation/controls in nature.

  • Provide training and mentoring of junior level instrumentation/controls engineers and designers.

  • Working safely in a restricted refinery location

  • Proven ability to meet client deadlines.

  • Make an impact day-to-day with your skills andexpertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team

WhatYou’llBring

  • Minimum of10 years’ experience in the engineering design of industrial control systems including instrumentation, control logic, PLC,SCADAand DCS based control systems, and control systems documentation.

  • Experience in SPI /InToolsin preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience in cost estimating (engineering and capital costs), proposal development, marketing, and business development efforts for I&C projects is preferred.

  • Experience supervising engineers,designers,and drafters as part of a control system design team.

  • Safety Integrated System experience is preferred. Certificate 2 ISA/IEC 61511 SIL Specialist isa preferred

  • Willing and able to travel as necessary for project requirements to include but notbe limitedto:project installation and start-up activities, client meetings, company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, or conventions, etc.

  • 4-year BS Engineering degree from an ABET schoolrequired

The approximate pay range for this position is $120,000-$160,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
