Job Description

Qualifications:

Support technical needs with a primary focus on ensuring newly installed equipment is properly installed and commission to minimize warrant work

Ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction

Support refrigeration installations, including but not limited to troubleshooting complex equipment

New and retrofit walk in installations, new box construction, refrigeration piping, ice machines and packaged RTU’s

Installation of all DX air conditioning systems

Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and service equipment

Perform start up and commissioning of new equipment

Provide on-site oversight when factory commissioning is employed

Provide technical support

Support leadership and help mentor and grow upcoming apprentices’

Remain up to date on manufacturer certifications and service bulletins

Installation, brazing and mechanical knowledge

Perform warranty work on equipment installed by the company still covered under first year warranty

Ability to figure out why something is not working properly to avoid in the future

Requirements

License Required:

MA Refrigeration License

EPA 608 Universal Certification

Valid Drivers License

Physical Requirements:

Lifting (approx 50 lbs.), climbing ladders and stairs; bending or stooping; extended periods of walking; regular exposure to weather conditions; operate motor vehicles; and ability to operate power and/or hand tools
