Based at Solar Turbines Esbjerg N, Denmark facility, this role provides comprehensive Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) leadership and operational support across both facilities and field activities within Europe and Central Aisa.

· Leads and supports HSSE operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient work environments.

· Contributes to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HSSE policies, procedures, and standards.

· Promotes employee health, safety, and wellbeing by identifying, eliminating, or reducing risk exposure.

· Ensures all HSSE practices are aligned with corporate objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

· Plays a key role in strengthening overall company performance through proactive risk management and operational excellence.

Nature and Scope:

The incumbent reports to the Regional HSSE Manager and works closely with HSSE personnel across the region. They serve as the primary HSSE focal point for their assigned districts, providing direct support to regional and district service managers, facility managers, medical teams, and other support personnel. The role also requires regular consultation with corporate HSSE professionals to coordinate, align, and implement HSSE programs.

The position involves regular international and domestic travel to conduct safety and security assessments at industrial sites within the energy and power‑generation sectors, supporting Solar Turbines’ field operations.

The incumbent must be capable of providing emergency response coverage and acting as the Emergency Response Coordinator and Facility Security Manager for the assigned facility/district when required.

· Availability to respond effectively to emergency situations or security threats

Accountabilities:

· Provide day‑to‑day management of HSSE matters within the assigned district.

· Deliver expert HSSE advice and guidance to management.

· Evaluate existing HSSE policies and procedures and recommend improvements.

· Monitor district‑level security developments and advise management accordingly.

· Oversee and guide compliance with travel safety and security requirements.

· Coordinate the District Emergency Management Team and Facility Managers.

· Act as the Facility Security Manager

· Maintain, update, and review the HSSE legal register for assigned districts.

· Manage contractor HSSE performance and compliance.

· Identify critical HSSE competencies required to meet regulatory and company standards.

· Implement and deliver HSSE training and coaching to employees as needed.

· Support the rollout and execution of HSSE program initiatives.

· Assist in incident investigations and follow‑up actions.

· Report HSSE performance metrics and trends to management.

· Conduct internal HSSE audits as required.

· Conduct training and assessments.

· Travel to Solar Office/Facility within the Europe and Central Asia region

· Visit customer sites within the region to perform HSSE surveys and assessments.

· Develop HSSE plans for customer locations and operational sites.

· Review and evaluate customer HSSE programs for alignment and compliance.

· Assist with the development and implementation of the PPE program

Qualifications and experience:

The position requires strong knowledge of local and European safety laws, regulations, and industry standards, along with the ability to apply them effectively across diverse operational environments. B S degree in health safety security and environment related discipline (preferred)

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

· B.S. degree in a Health, Safety, Security, or Environmental discipline (preferred)

· Diploma in a health and safety–related discipline

· NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)

· NEBOSH Technical Certificate in Oil & Gas Operational Safety (or equivalent)

· Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 45001 14001 preferred)

· Membership in a recognised HSSE professional body

Experience Requirements

· Experience in the Oil & Gas and Power Generation industries

· Emergency management experience

· Security management experience

· Incident investigation experience

Skills and Competencies

· Effective written, oral, and presentation skills

· Strong computer‑based skills

· Additional language skills English (essential) German (preferred)
