JOB SUMMARY

(Brief about the existence of the position)

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

(Primary duties)

The role will be responsible for all the HR and administration support to the new project organization (Plant – Manapparai, Trichy).

The brief description of the role will include:

o Manpower Planning, Budgeting and talent acquisition including executives, staff, skilled and contract workmen.

o Liaison with Govt. Officials with regard to the necessary approvals/licenses/documents etc.,

  • To Liaison with Statutory & Non-Statutory Bodies.
    (DLC Office, DOF, DPC, ESIC, PF, Labour Courts, etc.).
  • To maintain all the compliances Under Factories Act 1948.
  • To deal with Contract Labour Agreements, Licenses, Registration Numbers etc.,
  • To keep check on Compliance Under Contact Labour Abolition Act 1970.
  • To keep check all Compliances from time to time.
  • Administrative functions related to the new project
  • Housekeeping, Security, Transportation, Telephones, Travel arrangements, Guest House, Printing Stationery, Stationery Items Etc.)
  • Public Relations & Guest Relations

The incumbent will be headquartered at the Project Office, Trichy, Tamil Nadu and will be responsible for handling the HR & Administration for the Company

  • Ability to work on multi tasks and unstructured environment and bring in systems and processes
  • Ability to mobilize and manage resources to meet customer expectations
  • Usage of MS Office and SAP package
  • Deep understanding of systems and policies. Ability to develop and implement appropriate systems.

Candidate should come from a good professional background with a strong and clear commitment to general ethics and values. He should be:

o Self starter

  • Able to work with stress / pressure in a balanced manner
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and credible relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Proactive with planning skills.
  • Strong process and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and adept at communicating with all levels of the organization. Knowledge of Tamil language would be an added advantage.

AGE: 35 to 45 years

QUALIFICATION:

Should be an MSW / MBA / MHRM / from a reputed institute

EXPERIENCE & INDUSTRY:

(Total yrs of experience)

15 to 20 years of hands-on experience on handling the Human Resources Function in the Manufacturing sector / Engineering Industry / Process industry/Green Field Project

Should have a good blend of experience in HR & IR

Exposure towards Quality & Environment Management Systems& Experience in handling the green field project.
