The Sr. HR Business Partner (HRBP), serves as a strategic and operational partner supporting leaders in Enterprise Functions Human Resources (HR) and Integrated Supply Chain (ISC). Working closely with the HR Vice President, this role delivers day-to-day HR guidance and execution while also enabling transformational work such as organizational design, workforce insights, and continuous improvement of HR processes. The HRBP operates with a global perspective and collaborates across the global HRBP community to drive consistent, scalable people solutions.
Serve as a strategic HR business partner working collaboratively with your client groups to support and drive business results through data-driven counseling and decision making.
Drive adoption and quality delivery of Human Resources processes such as performance management, talent acquisition, career development, and employee relations initiatives, providing coaching to leaders on issues such as organizational development and effectiveness, and HR policies and/or practices.
Provide advice and counseling to leaders and to employees on HR issues (when requested and proactively) to improve leadership and team efficiency, dynamics and accountability.
Participate in strategic functional projects, i.e. organizational design, workforce planning, creation of global standards
Partner with the HR Shared Services and Center of Excellence (COE) teams such as payroll, compensation, benefits & HRIS as needed to provide solutions as needed.
Translate data into actionable analytics and partner with leaders on business case creation.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
7+ years experience as HR Generalist or HR Business Partner, with proven ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels; minimum 3 years HR experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
Working knowledge of core HR practices including employee relations, talent processes, workforce planning, performance management, and organizational change.
Experience supporting leaders through ambiguity and transformation; comfort influencing without authority.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize people data into clear insights and recommendations.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cultures, time zones, and global teams in matrix environments.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal) demonstrating proficiency in crafting executive-ready narratives.
High degree of discretion and integrity; ability to handle confidential information.
Results oriented with ability to independently follow through while balancing multiple priorities.

Pay Transparency
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:
$89,300.00 - $165,800.00
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
