Job Description

The Sr. Global Product Manager is responsible for defining and driving the global product strategy and end-to-end lifecycle management of assigned product categories. This role combines long-term strategic planning with executional excellence, including portfolio strategy, innovation roadmap development, commercialization, and lifecycle optimization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Owns the global category strategy and 3–5 year product roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Drives product revenue and margin through strategic positioning, pricing, and portfolio optimization.
  • Leads cross-functional teams (R&D, Regulatory, Marketing, Operations, Finance) to deliver global initiatives.
  • Identifies market opportunities, customer needs, and innovation areas to expand the portfolio.
  • Leads global go-to-market strategy and commercialization planning for new product launches.
  • Develops product positioning, value propositions, and product claims in partnership with Marketing.
  • Manages full product lifecycle including development, launch, sustainment, and obsolescence.
  • Translates global market dynamics and competitive insights into strategic direction.
  • Owns pricing strategy and portfolio investment decisions with ROI accountability.
  • Acts as product expert and key advisor to leadership on category strategy.
  • Champions continuous improvement under the Envista Business System (EBS).

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive global product management experience.
  • Proven success owning end-to-end product lifecycle and strategy development.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving cross-functional decisions.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to build business cases.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Detail-oriented and the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists required.
  • Ability to think critically and in tactical and strategic dimensions simultaneously required.
  • Skills, knowledge, and aptitude to engage, influence, and direct all functions involved in the project required.
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously required.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to articulate a business case required.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment required.
  • Strong data analytics skills and intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
  • Proficient in using project management tools to develop schedules, allocate resources, and establish program budgets required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English required.
  • Exceptional presentation skills required.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
