Job Description

Team: Global Market Access and Pricing – Obesity& Access, Product & Portfolio Strategy

Location: Bangalore, Novo Nordisk Global Business Services (GBS), India

Your impact begins here

As Senior Global Pricing Lead, you will set the pricing direction for assets in your therapy area(s), from early development through launch. You will turn clinical innovation into a clear pricing rationale and give leadership the insight to make sharper decisions on development, investment and launch sequence. Working globally, you will help make sure pricing reflects the value of our treatments and supports access for people living with serious chronic diseases.

What you’ll bring

  • An M.Sc. or MBA in economics, business administration, finance or a similar field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in pharma pricing, market access, business analytics or finance, from an affiliate, regional or headquarter role, including prior operational and strategic pricing experience.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills, and the interpersonal skills to build alignment across functions and levels.
  • Business acumen, strategic and operational thinking, and a problem-solving mindset, with the ability to influence decisions towards patient access and business goals.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • The curiosity to find the right tool and method to give the right answer at the right time.

Useful, but not essential:

  • Hands-on experience with international reference pricing, parallel trade or loss of exclusivity dynamics.
  • Experience supporting pricing input for early assets or business development decisions.

What you’ll do

You will own pricing for your therapy area(s) end to end, from strategy and insights to the operational detail of launch. In practice, that means:

  • Pricing strategy, guidance and forecasts: Drive pricing strategy, guidance and forecast development, and deliver them on time and with impact in line with the Pricing Procedure SOP and the Global Project Framework. Align with market access, commercial and NAO/IO colleagues so pricing fits the commercial strategy, the access strategy, the clinical profile and the competitive environment.
  • Operational pricing: Drive price business cases (PBCs) in line with the Pricing Procedure SOP and the CSCA PBC process, using analytics such as international reference pricing and parallel trade to guide decisions. Shape pricing input to launch strategies, launch sequences and annual brand strategies.
  • Pricing insights: Monitor the pricing landscape in strategic markets, including competitors and scenarios, and challenge pricing targets and negotiation strategies. Turn what you learn into reports, dashboards or newsletters showing how price setting affects HTA and reimbursement decisions, uptake and drug usage.
  • Early assets: Lead pricing discussions and decisions for early assets, and give project teams in the matrix organisation clear pricing assumptions and recommendations for drug development and investment decisions, including business development.
  • Leadership and ways of working: Provide recommendations and updates to Executive Management and other senior forums, share best practice with operations, and manage your budget and external vendors.

Who you’ll work with

You will join Global Market Access and Pricing – Obesity& Access, part of Product & Portfolio Strategy. In Product & Portfolio Strategy, colleagues connect commercial strategy, medical affairs and business development across therapy areas. Our team defines, shapes and operationalises payer-relevant value and access strategies across the asset lifecycle, working where science, evidence and health systems meet.

Your closest partners will be market access and commercial colleagues, the Portfolio Strategy Unit, Business Development, Finance and PSIA, alongside HEOR, Payer Evidence, Clinical Development and Medical. You will work with NAO/IO pricing and access teams and regional and strategic market teams, and agree pricing strategies and PBCs with senior leaders up to EVP level. Externally, you will work with vendors and may present at conferences.

Your scope is global. You will act within the Pricing Procedure SOP and other key processes, and your manager can grant further responsibilities.

What you can expect here

You will work where your expertise shapes decisions that matter, from early development to launch, and build new skills by working with colleagues across the value chain.

You will be supported to perform at your best, and trusted to own your decisions, make your voice heard and follow through. The work moves at pace, and you will be part of a team that combines curiosity, collaboration and ambition to create progress.

Start now

Your impact begins today. If you are ready to turn clinical innovation into pricing that supports access for people around the world, apply for the Senior Global Pricing Lead role by 10 November 2026. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
