We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Software Developer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in building scalable web applications using Django and Angular. The ideal candidate should have strong backend and frontend development capabilities, a good understanding of software engineering best practices, and practical exposure to AI-driven and specification-driven development approaches.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise-grade web applications, working closely with product managers, architects, designers, QA teams, and business stakeholders. This role requires someone who can convert functional specifications, wireframes, business requirements, and AI-assisted outputs into reliable, production-ready software.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Django, Django REST Framework, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Build clean, scalable, and secure REST APIs for enterprise web applications.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using Angular.
- Translate business requirements, functional specifications, UI wireframes, and API specifications into working application features.
- Work with AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, generate code scaffolding, validate logic, and accelerate implementation.
- Follow specification-driven development practices by aligning implementation with detailed requirements, schemas, API contracts, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA teams to clarify requirements and deliver high-quality features.
- Write reusable, maintainable, and testable code following coding standards and design patterns.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and code reviews.
- Optimize application performance, API response times, database queries, and frontend rendering.
- Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Participate in sprint planning, effort estimation, technical discussions, and release activities.
- Support deployment, production issue analysis, and bug fixes when required.
- Maintain proper technical documentation for APIs, workflows, implementation logic, and configuration changes.
Required Skills
- 4–5 years of professional experience in full-stack web application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and Django.
- Experience with Django REST Framework or similar API development frameworks.
- Strong frontend development experience using Angular.
- Good knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Angular Material, or similar UI libraries.
- Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL.
- Good understanding of ORM concepts, database design, indexing, and query optimization.
- Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth2, RBAC, or session-based authentication.
- Familiarity with Git, branching strategies, pull requests, and code review processes.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile/Scrum methodology, and CI/CD basics.
- Ability to understand detailed business requirements, API specifications, data schemas, and acceptance criteria.
- Practical exposure to AI-driven development tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools.
- Understanding of specification-driven development, including API-first design, contract-based development, and documentation-led implementation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with Docker, containerized deployments, or Kubernetes basics.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with background jobs, message queues, Celery, Redis, or similar tools.
- Exposure to AI/ML-enabled applications, AI agents, document processing, recommendation engines, or workflow automation.
- Experience working with Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as PyTest, Jasmine, Karma, or Cypress.
- Experience with performance tuning, logging, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
- Exposure to enterprise-grade security practices, data masking, encryption, and secure API development.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a modern engineering environment where AI tools and detailed specifications are used to improve development quality and speed. The candidate should be able to:
- Use AI-assisted tools responsibly for code generation, refactoring, test case creation, documentation, and debugging.
- Validate AI-generated outputs before using them in production code.
- Convert product specifications, API contracts, data models, and UI workflows into working features.
- Identify gaps in requirements and ask the right technical or functional questions.
- Maintain alignment between implementation, API documentation, database schema, and UI behavior.
