Job Description

• Design, develop, and support integrations with major ambulatory electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare interoperability platforms
• Build and maintain healthcare data exchange interfaces utilizing HL7 FHIR (R4/R5) and HL7 v2 messaging standards
• Develop scalable full stack applications and features across both front-end and back-end environments
• Implement secure authentication and authorization workflows for provider and patient-facing healthcare applications
• Work within third-party healthcare integration ecosystems and developer programs to support application connectivity and certification efforts
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, QA, and clinical stakeholders to translate healthcare workflows into technical solutions
• Ensure interoperability solutions align with healthcare privacy, security, and regulatory standards
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration performance, data mapping, and production stability
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, peer code reviews, and technical documentation efforts

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience integrating with one or more enterprise ambulatory EHR or healthcare technology platforms (required)
• Strong experience building RESTful APIs and working with HL7 FHIR standards (R4 and/or R5)
• Familiarity with HL7 v2 message structures including ADT, scheduling, orders, and clinical results workflows
• Experience implementing modern authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and SMART-style healthcare authorization frameworks
• Strong full stack engineering background with experience across UI and server-side development
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Understanding of healthcare data privacy and security requirements within regulated environments
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and systems integration skills
