Join the SIS 2.0 team of Cat Digital andbe responsible forperforming front-end software development, regular problem solving, maintenance and support for this mission critical application.

The main tech stack needed is React, Vue.js or Node.jsandHTML, CSS.

What You Will Do:

• Designing,modifying, developing,writingand implementing software programming applications for targetsystemusing agile methods.

• Writing source codes for new applications, and/or generating and enhancing code for existing applications.

• Perform testing and maintenance using Caterpillar’s SIS (Service Information System) approved tools.

What You Will Have:

• Effective Communications:Extensive Knowledge of effective communication concepts, toolsand techniques; ability to effectivelytransmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application ofappropriate communicationbehaviors.

• Decision Making and Critical Thinking:Working Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

• Software Development:Extensive Experience with software development and ability to produce systems in line with product requirements using Vue.js, Node.js, and React.

• Software Development Life Cycle:Working Knowledge of software development life cycle; ability to use a structured methodologyfor delivering and managing new or enhanced software products to the marketplace.

• Software Integration Engineering Working Knowledge of software integration processes and functions; ability to design, develop andmaintaininterfaces and linkage to alternative platforms and software packages.

• Extensive hands-on experience writing quality and safe code in React, Vue.js or Node.jsand HTML, CSS.

• Extensive hands-on experience writing code in distributed systems(Azure or AWS Cloud)

Considerations for Top Candidates:

• Extensive experience manually troubleshooting code and deploying code using Git,Githubactions and Azure CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong experience writing complex SQL queries and proven experience with MSQL.

• Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints

• Passion fornew technology

• Some experience with generative AI applications

Pay Range:

$110,520.00 - $179,640.00
