Job Description

Masco Corporation is seeking a dedicated Senior Financial Analyst to join our world-class team at our headquarters in Livonia, MI! This outstanding opportunity allows you to take on a meaningful role in advancing central initiatives that drive long-term value creation. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you'll support the Corporate FP&A function and Transformation Office, translating complex financial and operational data into actionable insights for executive leadership.

Core Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Support the planning, management, and continuous development of the enterprise-wide corporate annual and long-range planning processes to enable strategic decision-making and long-term value creation.
  • Synthesize plans and results from multiple business units and segments. Identify past and future business drivers and trends. Redefine insights into actions with Masco’s Executive Committee.
  • Develop and carry out tools and analysis to assess current and future financial and operational performance relative to prior year, plan, and forecast to support strategic business decisions.
  • Provide analysis and insight to support executive management decision making including preparing management presentations, board presentations, financial presentations, and industry/peer competitive analysis.

Transformation Office

  • Work closely alongside the Transformation Finance Director as a strategic finance partner, leading important transformation initiatives that support the company’s growth strategy and long-term value creation.
  • Partner with corporate and business unit leadership to develop, evaluate, and challenge arguments, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
  • Lead monitoring and reporting of value realization efforts, including measurement of financial and operational outcomes, benefits attainment, and overall impact of strategic transformation activities.
  • Develop executive-level presentations and communication materials that clearly articulate transformation progress, risks, opportunities, and encouraged business outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and assessment of investment theses and strategic recommendations for major enterprise initiatives through financial modeling, portfolio analysis, scenario planning, and risk evaluation.

Skills and Abilities

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of corporate finance experience.
  • Effective communication with various functional areas and at all levels of management.
  • Consistent track record to handle confidential information and build relationships with C-suite executives, earning their respect and becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Strong collaboration abilities demonstrated by successfully working alongside a diverse group and forming connections with various business units.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proficiency in financial analysis; ability to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives, and drive positive change.
  • Established skill in arranging and managing several tasks at once along with operating independently.
  • Financial modeling experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Hyperion Financial Management experience preferred.

Hiring Range: $88,700.00 - $139,260.00 USD

Actual compensation may vary based on various factors including experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills.
