Salary Range: $95,000-$130,000

Hours: 40 per week, Monday-Friday

Travel: < 10%

We are seeking a Senior Financial Management Analyst/Consultant to support PEO C4I / NAVWAR Command clients in San Diego, CA. This role involves delivering highimpact financial management and accounting support to U.S. government clients. You will work both independently and collaboratively within a consulting team, supporting daytoday financial operations and longterm strategic planning.

Key Focus Areas

  • Supporting complex Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) and programmatic initiatives
  • Developing, executing, andmonitoringDoD budgets and annual financial spend plans
  • Conducting account reconciliations, variance analyses, financial tracking, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Advisingclient leadership on critical financial and operational decisions

Responsibilities

  • Enter andmaintainaccuratefinancial data in government systems (e.g., Navy ERP, Standard Procurement System, and successor systems)
  • Assistwith budget formulation, cost management, and variance analysis
  • Measure organizational performance and assess program and policy impacts on funding
  • Research financial and economic trends affecting program execution and spending
  • Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and guidelines governing budget formulation and execution
  • Manage multiple funding types and coordinate withcross‑functionalstakeholders
  • Prepare and brief financial reports, budgets, analyses, andexecutive‑levelsummaries
  • Develop recommendations and courses of action (COAs) to resolve financial issues
  • Interpret and applyfinancial managementpolicies, regulations, and strategic objectives

  • Proven ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and tools

  • Advanced Excelproficiency(used daily)
  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Access, Outlook)
  • Experience using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Familiarity with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N‑ERP) preferred

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • 7+ years of Navy/DoDfinancial managementor relevant federal consulting experience
  • Strongly preferred: Department of the Navy (DoN) experience, including accounting, consulting, finance, NAVWAR financial systems, and PPBE processes
  • Ability to obtain a SECRET government security clearance (TS/SCI may berequiredfor certain projects)
  • Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) certification preferred
