Uses organizational defined solutions and strategies to support the delivery of financial performance analytics, financial reporting, payor contracting, cost accounting, and budgeting in support of strategy, business planning, operational performance, and other decision-making opportunities using organizational defined business intelligence solutions and strategies. Participates in the development of metrics and systems of measurement in quality and outcomes. Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting, finance or related fields

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of additional work
  • Ability to prioritize work in alignment of system needs
  • Must be team-oriented and able to provide leadership while coordinating and managing projects to completion
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple business lines and managerial levels within an organization
  • Ability to summarize and present financial analysis including recommendations or solutions
  • Requires advanced excel skills, inclusive of pivot tables, INDEX, MATCH, vlookup and xlookup. Advanced SQL skills required in some cases.
  • Ability to deliver error free work

  • Provides training and functions as a knowledge resource to end-users of finance tools and concepts and business acumen.
