This role of the Senior Financial Analyst within RTR is to provide management reporting and transaction support to the MCBC business entities. The role will play a key supporting role in helping the entities finance team deliver timely data and decision support to the commercial and supply chain functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide data analytics and transactional support to the Finance Business Areas
• Assist in period end close duties including journal posting, reconciliations
• Provide analysis of system data, engineering stores and other to the business
• Prepare key monthly reports to support key commercial or supply chain decision making
• Gather data for and uploads forecasts to business systems; performs checks to ensure accuracy of uploaded data
• Provision of variance analysis vs. budget, flex budget, previous forecasts and prior year

SKILLS & RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:
Required:

  • Language Skills: Advanced English
  • Accounting/ finance & reporting skills (minimum 4 years experience)
  • Computer skills, including experience with Excel (V look-up, pivot table, index match, big data base)
  • Previous experience in SAP System (journals, accruals entries, balance sheet reconciliations)
  • Stakeholder management

Preferred:

  • Spanish intermediate (B2)
