The Financial Analyst, Pricing is primarily responsible for pricing maintenance and analysis, customer rebates, profitability models, & sales and GP1 margin analysis. This position reports to the VP of FP&A, but will have regular interaction with other departments.
Essential job functions to be performed:
· Pricing Maintenance and Strategy – maintain customer pricing tables, analyze and recommend strategic pricing improvements, and audit pricing contracts.
· Customer Rebate Payments – calculate, reconcile, and process monthly, quarterly, and annual customer rebates and allowances.
· Financial Modeling – partner with the sales organization to model the ROI of current and prospective customers.
· Sales and GP1 analysis – update and analyze monthly reports to identify sales and margin trends within the business.
· Discontinued Style/Sell Thru analysis – organize and run a monthly recurring meeting to review discontinued styles and recommend price reductions on inventory turns greater than 12 months.
· Project support and ad hoc analysis – as needed, projects may include ROI analysis, profitability models, inventory analysis, etc.
Requirements/Qualifications/Experience
· 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably within FP&A and/or operational finance functions. Or Deal Desk expereince
· Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial software and systems, preferably NetSuite.
· World class organizational skills, a track record of process improvement success, and a strong desire to own and lead processes.
Education:
· BS in Finance or Accounting
