Position Specific Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Sr. Financial Analyst to provide support to our legal and compliance team. In this role, you will:

  1. Lead all financial and accounting tasks to ensure the smooth operation of accounting functions.
  2. Identify processes to improve or streamline in financial reporting or analysis.
  3. Respond to compliance requests and prepare forms.
  4. Prepare simple legal forms for attorney review.
  5. Project manage reporting requests for data from the entity management database.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with accounting to maintain the team's financial records.
  • Project Manager of team accounting and vendor payments.
  • Managing all vendor payments.
  • Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records.
  • Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders.
  • Support reconciliation of accounts and verification of financial data.
  • Project manager for reporting out of the entity management database.
  • Review and prepare responses to compliance requests.
  • Assist with compiling reports and summaries for management review.
  • Lead liaison with financial teams to provide documentation and deliverables for requests.
  • Assist in the preparation of simple legal documents.
  • Skills should include strong proficiency with Excel, Word, including using Mail Merge features, ability to manipulate excel data from a database.
  • Strong proficiency in use of AI tools to reconcile and generate reports, including ChatGPT and/or CoPilot.

Employees in this role conduct complex operational analyses and lead medium to large project teams that support informed decision making within the business unit.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conducts analyses and prepares reports that provide operational and/or technical support to business operations
  • Conducts quantitative and qualitative research to support small to medium special projects
  • Assists with process design and modification for continuous business improvement
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 4+ years

  • Bachelor's Degree
