Sr. FP&A Analyst
Department: Finance
Location: LAHAB, UAE

About the Role
We are looking for a Sr. FP&A Analyst to support LAHAB’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and performance analysis activities. The role will work closely with Finance, business functions, cluster teams, and management to provide accurate financial insights, identify performance improvement opportunities, and support informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the annual financial planning and budgeting cycle, including timelines, templates, submissions, and consolidation across functions.
  • Prepare and maintain budgets and forecasts, review estimates for accuracy and completeness, and monitor performance against approved plans.
  • Prepare and analyse monthly and quarterly management reports, including actual vs. budget, cost centre performance, financial trends, and key variances.
  • Analyse financial and operational performance and provide meaningful insights and recommendations to management.
  • Prepare and maintain product costing, including standard and actual costs, bill of materials, overhead allocation, product margins, and cost of goods sold.
  • Review product costs and support the development of appropriate sales pricing based on cost and margin analysis.
  • Prepare business cases, feasibility studies, and financial models for new products, business plans, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyse cost variances, identify their root causes, and recommend appropriate cost management actions.
  • Review accounts, accruals, and trial balance reconciliations to ensure financial information is accurate and complete.
  • Support inventory closing and reconciliation, ensuring inventory values are appropriately reflected in the General Ledger.
  • Review and validate purchase orders and CAPEX requests against approved budgets and commercial values.
  • Upload and monitor project costs within the ERP system and support the cost disbursement approval process.
  • Prepare required monthly reports and financial information for the EDGE Cluster and management.
  • Support internal and external audits, particularly in relation to costing, inventory, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and improve financial reporting tools, dashboards, and analytical models to provide management with timely and actionable information.
  • Work closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other stakeholders to improve financial performance and support business objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Professional qualification such as CPA, CIMA, CA, or ACCA is highly desirable.
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management accounting, or financial analysis.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, defence, high-technology, global, or publicly traded organization is an advantage.
  • Strong experience in financial modelling and advanced Excel is essential.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics and reporting tools.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
