Job Description

Key responsibilities

As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will serve as the primary financial advisor to

business leaders, driving strategic decision-making, performance management, and resource optimisation. You will be embedded within the commercial organisation, ensuring financial insights are translated into actionable business strategies.

Strategic Business Partnering

    • Act as the first point of contact for commercial leadership, supporting business operations, management decisions, and strategic planning
    • Provide financial guidance on commercial initiatives, including product launches, and market expansion.

Forecasting & Planning

    • Lead Therapy sales forecasting and budget planning processes (AB, RE, LE) covering full channels, ensuring alignment with business objectives
    • Lead end-to-end P&L simulations for therapy area business cas-es, ensuring comprehensive financial analysis and fostering cross-functional alignment on key assumptions and outcomes.

Performance Management

    • Deliver timely and insightful analysis of P&L performance, sales trends, and resource utilisation
    • Track KPIs and provide variance analysis to support commercial excellence and operational efficiency.
    • Establish quarterly cost targets for regions within the Business Unit, grounded in clear principles and closely aligned with BU leadership and evolving business priorities.
    • Ensure accurate quarterly and full-year cost landing through robust cost tracking and proactive engagement with commercial teams.

Governance & Compliance

    • Ensure transparency and control in commercial spending, including sponsorships and promotional investments
    • Support internal audits and compliance reviews related to commercial finance activities.

Qualifications:

  • Master degree from top Chinese University/Oversea University
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in business/ commercial finance or commercial analytical/forecasting roles.
  • Experience exposure to marketing, strategic consultancy or commercial excellence is preferred
  • Consistently reliable and trustworthy
  • Strong business acumen with a proven ability to translate business insights into actionable financial analysis.
  • Exceptional data intuition with the ability to extract actionable insights from complex datasets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic outcomes.
  • Collaborative and growth-oriented
