The Role

We're looking for a Senior Field & Community Manager to build engagement, brand loyalty, and trust among our customers, partners, and advocates online and in person. You'll manage our presence across social media and our community channels, and bring that community to life through executive dinners, meetups, conferences, and field marketing activations that deepen relationships with our most important customers.

This role sits at the intersection of always-on community engagement and high-touch, in-person relationship building. You'll need to be comfortable with both a content calendar and a guest list.

Your Team

You'll report to the Head of Marketing and work closely with Sales and leadership on executive dinners and VIP customer events, with Creative & Design on event and campaign assets, and with Organic on turning customer stories into case studies and testimonials.

What you'll do

• Create, curate, and manage content that's relevant, engaging, and aligned with our brand voice across social and community channels
• Plan and execute in-person and virtual events (executive dinners, meetups, conferences, and field marketing activations) owning logistics end-to-end: venue, guest lists, vendors, budget, and on-site execution
• Curate guest lists and manage invitations for executive dinners and VIP customer events, working closely with Sales and leadership
• Represent Finix at events to build relationships and visibility
• Respond to comments, direct messages, and community queries in a timely, professional way, and foster a positive, inclusive community
• Identify and cultivate relationships with key customers, power users, and advocates who can fuel referrals, testimonials, and word-of-mouth growth
• Develop and enforce community guidelines, and monitor conversations to manage PR-sensitive situations
• Measure event ROI and attendee feedback, and track community engagement metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
• Gather customer feedback and community insights and report trends to Product and Marketing

What you bring

• 5+ years in community management, field marketing, or event marketing, ideally in B2B
• Proven experience planning and executing in-person events end-to-end, from intimate executive dinners to larger activations
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with high emotional intelligence
• Proficiency with social media management platforms, analytics dashboards, and basic design or video tools
• Comfort managing budgets, vendors, and multiple concurrent events without dropping details

• Experience in fintech, payments, or at a hyper-growth B2B SaaS company
• An existing network within the payments or fintech industry
• Experience building a customer advocacy or referral program from scratch
• Comfort presenting to and coordinating with senior executives and sales leadership

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at our headquarters in San Francisco, California. Individual pay is determined by work location, job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
