Job Responsibilities
Facilities Operations
Coordinate daily facilities mechanical/electrical operations to ensure uninterrupted, safe, and efficient support for manufacturing activities.
Act as the technical focal point to ensure system availability, reliability, stability, and compliance.
Provide technical guidance and coordination to ensure proper execution of facilities operations and maintenance.
Operate, manage, and maintain all facilities equipment to ensure smooth operation and zero interruption to production.
Ensure reliable performance of all facilities equipment and utilities supporting manufacturing operations.
Monitor system performance to maintain design conditions and operational requirements.
Project Support/ Hook Up
Lead or support facility expansion including production tool hook up, utility upgrade, and improvement projects.
Apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA), SPC, and Lean methodologies to improve system reliability, efficiency, and operational robustness
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM)
Develop, implement, and oversee preventive maintenance programs for facilities system.
Conduct condition-based and predictive maintenance (vibration, trend analysis, run hours, etc.) to reduce unplanned downtime.
Improve asset reliability through continuous monitoring and maintenance optimization.
Energy Efficiency & Optimization
Identify opportunities to optimize facilities equipment operation to reduce energy consumption.
Lead and support energy reduction initiatives, system optimization, and sustainability projects.
Track energy performance and savings through data analysis.
SPC, BMS & Performance Monitoring
Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor mechanical system performance, identify trends, and detect abnormalities.
Use Building Management System (BMS) to monitor, control, and optimize HVAC, chiller, and utility system operations.
Analyse system data and alarms to initiate corrective and preventive actions before failures occur.
Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution
Lead root cause investigation and troubleshooting of mechanical system failures, excursions, and inefficiencies.
Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, and contractors for system repair, tuning, and upgrades.
Ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented and verified.
Compliance, Safety & Quality
Ensure mechanical systems comply with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company standards.
Support audits and inspections, including ISO 9001 and other applicable management systems.
Ensure safe work practices are followed during maintenance and project activities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related field.
3–6 years of experience in Facilities background.
Having strong knowledge on facilities system such as Chillers, CDA, Dehumidifier, BMS system, Lift system and Electrical system
Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) is an added advantage.
Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
Hands-on experience with BMS (Building Management System)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
