About this Position

This is a fixed-term position to cover maternity leave.

Support the ESG Reporting and Business integration team which is part of Henkel’s Global Sustainability function. The role contributes to the translation of CSRD regulatory and compliance requirements into actionable strategies and initiatives for Henkel’s expert teams and supports the organization’s readiness and successful implementation of the CSRD framework and alignment with the EU´s sustainability disclosure standards.

What you´ll do

Job Purpose
Support the ESG Reporting and Business integration team which is part of Henkel’s Global Sustainability function. The role contributes to the translation of CSRD regulatory and compliance requirements into actionable strategies and initiatives for Henkel’s expert teams and supports the organization’s readiness and successful implementation of the CSRD framework and alignment with the EU´s sustainability disclosure standards.

  • Interpret and operationalize CSRD requirements (including ESRS standards) and support the further development of Henkel’s ESG reporting framework, including documentation and governance.
  • Support the double materiality assessment for Henkel’s sustainability report.
  • Conduct benchmarking and gap analyses of Henkel’s reporting.
  • Assist in the coordination of cross-functional initiatives addressing reporting requirements across ESG sub-topics and support the relevant Subject Matter Experts
  • Work closely with data and IT teams to support ESG data collection, validation, and system input.
  • Support the implementation of an Internal Control System for Henkel’s sustainability reporting including the documentation of relevant processes.
  • Support sustainability related risk assessments and strategy reviews.

What makes you a good fit

  • Required Qualifications
    • Proven or initial experience in sustainability reporting, ESG compliance, or proven experience in regulatory implementation.
  • Basic understanding of EU regulatory frameworks and ESG disclosure standards (e.g., ESRS).
  • Experience in project or program management within a matrix organization.
  • Ability to work within project environments while actively contributing to the development of new processes in close collaboration with remote teams.
    • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with data governance, IT systems, and internal controls is a plus.

Salary €1,800 – €2,600 gross per month. The advertised amount represents a starting salary range. The final salary will be determined based on the above criteria and confirmed after the interview process.
