Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Senior Estimator role in Bradenton, FL Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products and services. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their projects—from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare detailed cost estimates for complex construction and manufacturing projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
· Review project drawings, specifications, and requirements to develop accurate and competitive bids.
· Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify scope, timelines, and deliverables.
· Analyze historical data, market trends, and supplier pricing to ensure accurate forecasting and cost control.
· Lead value engineering efforts to optimize cost without compromising quality or performance.
· Review subcontractor and vendor proposals to ensure scope alignment and competitive pricing.
· Prepare and present comprehensive bid packages and cost summaries for executive review.
· Participate in project handoff meetings to ensure smooth transition from estimating to execution.
· Mentor junior estimators and contribute to the development of standardized estimating procedures and tools.

Qualifications:

*Must haveexperience in Civil construction or Marine Construction.*

· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· 7+ years of experience in estimating within construction, fabrication, or industrial manufacturing.
· Proven ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong understanding of project plans, specifications, and takeoff software.
· Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
· Proficiency in estimating software (such as Bluebeam, Sage Estimating, or similar).
· Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, teamwork, and professionalism.
