What You'll Do:

• Act as a site coordinator for the Structural Integrity program which will require compliance with the Corporate Structural Integrity Guidance Documents
• Coordinate or manage all structural related projects for surface
• Provide daily structural engineering support to the mill maintenance and operations departments
• Work closely with the project engineering group to ensure all new or modified structures are captured in the Structural Integrity Program
• Responsible for continuous improvement in the Structural Integrity Program as it relates to the Asset Integrity Management Software (AIMS)
• Design engineered repairs as required in a brownfield environment
• Plan, schedule, or conduct asset inspections to comply with mandated inspection intervals for all structural assets on site
• Responsible for the maintenance and updating of the AIMS as it relates to assets, inspections, and deficiency repair
• Responsible for long term planning for deficiency repairs and management
• Write technical scope of works and create work packages

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) Designation
• 5+ years experience in structural engineering and design, preferable at a potash site or industrial setting
• Good oral and written communication skills, as well as analytical and problem solving abilities
• Strong commitment to safety and safety leadership
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a team environment with a variety of different stakeholders
• Proficient in the use of computer software programs, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Computer Aided Structural Analysis & Design
• Eligible to be a member APEGS
