We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Engineer/Engineer (Pipelines) to join our team at Star Services LLC in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a leading provider of engineering and construction services in the oil and gas industry, we are looking for a candidate who is passionate about pipelines and has a strong background in offshore pipeline design and construction.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience in offshore pipeline design and construction, with a focus on FEED/Detailed Design, Construction, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning activities. The candidate should also have experience working with pipeline engineering software and be familiar with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee pipeline design and construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Develop and review FEED and Detailed Design documents for offshore pipelines
- Prepare technical specifications, data sheets, and drawings for pipeline materials and equipment
- Conduct technical reviews and provide recommendations for pipeline design and construction
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects
- Provide technical support during construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in pipeline design and construction activities
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and incorporate new technologies and practices into projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in offshore pipeline design and construction
- Experience in FEED/Detailed Design, Construction, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning activities
- Proficient in pipeline engineering software
- Familiar with industry standards and regulations
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel and work on-site when required
