The Sr. Field Service Engineer is an expert in technical field and responsible for all aspects of equipment support performed at customer sites or prior to delivery, and to ensure that it is completed in compliance with all company policies and standard operating procedures. This may include pre-delivery inspection, installation, commissioning, planned maintenance, troubleshooting, assessment, breakdown repair, and in-service to customers on basic device maintenance. The Sr. Engineer will

be the main contact point with the customers. Essential duties and responsibilities will be as below: -

  • Recognized as an expert in technical field.
  • Work consists of technical tasks that are complex and complicated.
  • High degree of initiative, who supports training junior field service engineers.
  • Responsible for on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrade, troubleshooting and repair of equipment
  • Capture performed service activities in service delivery system and ensure service documents are submitted on-time.
  • Be the point of contact for customers; resolve escalation of any customer complaints.
  • Monitor monthly assigned service job (maintenance) and ensure timely completion.
  • Work closely with sales team to support tenders and product demonstration.
  • Expected to independently propose solutions to problems for supervisor review .
  • Run projects, including PM planning, water system project and service contract proposal.
  • Able to provide standby duties whenever scheduled
  • Able to provide service support after office hour, weekends and public holidays if whenever required.
  • Any additional duties assigned time to time.

The candidate should have below skills: -

  • Good knowledge on troubleshooting methods/skills and capital equipment control
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Customer oriented
  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Experience with service delivery system (SAP, Service Max, SFDC) preferred.

Education: -

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering
  • Preferably 3-5 years' experience in medical device.
  • 5 Years experience in technical service field.
