1.Manufacturing AQP for projects awarded to 4/5 suppliers

1)Summarize lesson learn documents and conduct gauge/fixture review

2)Review important process/documents with suppliers, including DFM, PFMEA, QCP, SOP, etc.

3)Develop inspection/testing standard with suppliers and approve the finalization

4)Support FOT sample, trial run, buy-off and supplier deviation if needed

5)Participate in project review with cross-functional teams

6)Review packaging design and validate drop test results provided by suppliers

7)Conduct tooling qualification, MSA, capability study and FAI issue follow up

8)Fully responsible for PPAP preparation and review, including supplier PPAP and PPAP to Molex’s customers

9)Conduct Go & See PFMEA audit for projects

10)Develop and execute safe launch plan and report out

2.Supplier Quality Management

1)Conduct regular supplier audits and following the improvement actions

2)Supplier issue handling (QN, outstanding process, yield issues, etc.)

3)Sub-tier supplier management

4)Supplier performance monitoring and metrics reporting out

5)Hold regular meetings with suppliers and coordinate the needs from Molex team to suppliers

6)Deliver training to Molex source inspectors and support buy-off activities

3.Manufacturing Quality Engineering for products produced by 4/5 suppliers

1)Handle customer complaints (QN) caused by supplier related reasons

2)Support customer audits/visits to suppliers or requirements handling

3)Internal coordination and problem solving

4)Enhancement of supplier quality management procedure/processes and product quality management

SCOPE:This position will be responsible for the supplier quality assurance of CCS (1st tier and sub-tier suppliers).


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

EDUCATION:

REQUIRED:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field

PREFERRED:Master’s degree preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED:5 Years plus experience in front-line of quality function 3 Years plus experience in supplier management related functions

PREFERRED:SQA & AQP related, Project experience

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

REQUIRED:•FMEA, Control Plan and Gage R&R experience

•8D approach

•Cable/connector assembly knowledge

•English communication

•Quality Management System knowledge

•Green Belt

PREFERRED:•Advanced Quality Planning, QSA/

QPA audit, Lean and 6 sigma
