The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for identifying, resolving, and improving process integration and yield-related issues. This role drives defect reduction, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating cross-functionally to meet organizational and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and resolve process integration and yield issues through data-driven approaches and structured problem-solving

  • Perform project management and detailed data analysis to support process improvement initiatives

  • Develop and optimize processes, including custom or derivative solutions to meet customer needs

  • Support new designs through module characterization and design rule development

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce defectivity and address technical and yield challenges

  • Design and enhance test structures for accurate, efficient process characterization

  • Drive continuous improvement plans (CIP) to meet business and operational goals

  • Build and maintain defect source libraries, including tool-level defect fingerprinting

  • Conduct product and process partitioning studies to improve yield and defect performance

  • Ensure processes are well-documented, with clear failure mode identification, mitigation, and detection controls in place

  • Adhere to all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHS&S) requirements and ensure safe work practices

  • Support additional projects and assignments as required


Basic Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Materials, or related discipline)

  • Strong experience in semiconductor process engineering, integration, or yield improvement

  • Proven ability in data analysis, problem-solving, and process optimization

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams within a manufacturing environment
