Position: Senior Engineer - Industrial Engineering Organization : Cyient DLM Limited Location: Mysore Experience: 4-5 Years Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Production, or equivalent Job Summary We are looking for a Senior Engineer - Industrial Engineering with strong hands-on experience in industrial engineering functions within a reputed manufacturing organization. The candidate will be responsible for capacity planning, manpower optimization, manufacturing layout improvement, new line setup, productivity enhancement, and implementation of Lean Manufacturing initiatives. Key Responsibilities Perform capacity calculation and capacity planning to support production requirements. Conduct manpower estimation and workforce planning for manufacturing operations. Optimize manufacturing layouts to improve operational efficiency, material flow, and space utilization. Lead and support Greenfield and Brownfield manufacturing line setup projects. Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives across production operations. Plan and execute productivity improvement projects. Conduct time studies, motion studies, and work measurement activities. Implement line balancing and resource optimization techniques. Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Support Kaizen, 5S, and Lean Six Sigma projects. Analyze manufacturing data and provide recommendations for process improvements. Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to improve overall operational performance.
