As a Sr. Engineer, Endpoint Services at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a critical role in enabling secure, scalable, and modern digital workplace experiences for colleagues across the globe. By architecting and optimizing endpoint management solutions using Intune, SCCM, and Windows 365, you will directly support business continuity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Roles and Responsibilities

Endpoint Management & Modern Workplace

  • Design, implement, and manage endpoint solutions using Microsoft Intune (MEM)
  • Manage Windows 10 and Windows 11 devices across enterprise environments
  • Implement and support Windows Autopilot for zero-touch provisioning
  • Configure and maintain device compliance, configuration profiles, and security baselines
  • Manage application deployment, updates, and patching via Intune
  • Deploy and maintain Windows 365 Cloud PCs, including policy, provisioning, and optimization

Imaging & Device Lifecycle

  • Build, maintain, and optimize OS imaging and deployment solutions
  • Transition and modernize imaging workflows to Autopilot-based provisioning
  • Handle device lifecycle activities: provisioning, upgrades, refresh, retirement, and disposal

Security & Compliance

  • Implement Conditional Access, device compliance policies, and endpoint security policies
  • Integrate endpoint management with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
  • Ensure endpoints meet organizational and regulatory compliance standards

Troubleshooting & Support

  • Provide Tier 3/4 support for endpoint-related issues
  • Troubleshoot Intune, Autopilot, enrollment, policy, and application issues
  • Analyze logs and telemetry to identify root causes and drive long-term fixes

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Work closely with Security, Identity, Infrastructure, and Service Desk teams
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks
  • Participate in design reviews, audits, and change management processes

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer or Information Sciences.
  • Overall IT experience of 10+ years, with a minimum of 8+ years in SCCM/Intune/Windows 365.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager)
  • Hands-on experience with Windows 10 & Windows 11 enterprise deployments
  • Proven experience with Windows Autopilot (User-Driven & Self-Deploying modes)
  • Hands-on experience with Windows 365 / Cloud PC
  • Strong knowledge of OS imaging, provisioning, and migration strategies
  • Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID, device join (AADJ/Hybrid)
  • Solid understanding of PowerShell scripting for automation
  • Knowledge of Group Policy, MDM vs GPO coexistence
  • Proficient in documentation with audiences that vary between technical and non-technical users and management.
  • Demonstrate good judgment and ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision and direction to perform professional and organizational responsibilities.
  • Experience working in ITIL and Project Management Processes.
  • Excellent oral and interpersonal skills to interact and work with global IT teams and end customers.
  • This position will involve working in rotational shifts.

  • Experience with Co-Management (SCCM + Intune)

  • Experience with Conditional Access, Zero Trust principles
