Job Description

The Sr. Engineer, End User Experience (Apple) will design, configure, and administer MacOS devices, ensuring they meet organizational standards and security policies. They will work to understand ongoing business and security objectives and translate those into solutions utilizing these services.

The Sr. Engineer will also assist with other team priorities such as conference room technology, endpoint and client operating system configuration, internal identity management, and more as needed.

What You'll Do

  • Provide advanced technical support to end-users and function as a final point of escalation for support teams.
  • Collaborating with IT security, infrastructure, and service desks teams to maintain a seamless Apple ecosystem.
  • Developing and maintaining scripts and automation tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Implementing and maintaining security protocols, including encryption and patch management
  • Defines to short and long-term roadmap for all End User Experience supported systems.
  • Participates in an on-call rotation to provide support for End User Experience supported systems after hours.
  • Research and development, proof of concept initiatives, and related activities for end-user-facing services.
  • Participates in problem-solving for complex systems and processes.
  • Create and update architectural documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
  • Estimates complexity of assigned projects and programs and assists in defining project tasks and documenting the estimated effort.
  • Mentors other team members and Service Desk technicians on techniques, methods, standards, and processes.
  • Takes advantage of and participates in continuing education opportunities to develop technical skills and soft skills.



What You'll Bring

  • An information technology-related degree from a college or university or equivalent work experience.
  • Ideal candidates will have a minimum of eight to ten years of increasing experience in information technology with an emphasis on IT Infrastructure and MacOS.
  • Advanced-level experience with Mac Operating System creation, deployment, and management.
  • Hands-on experience with MDM tools (Jamf preferred) Security vulnerability remediation and patching.
  • Strong understanding of MacOS system settings, user accounts, and security features.
  • Knowledge of SSO and identity tools like Entra.
  • MacOS Deloyment, Apple Device Management, Azure Active Directory, Active Directory, AAD Connect, Group Policy, Microsoft 365 Apps (Office), Scripting, Conditional Access, Mobile Application Management.
  • Bonus Points: Fundamental understanding of Windows technologies client operating systems, conference room technology, familiarity with application delivery services like Intune and SCCM, familiarity with file servers.
