The team you will be a part of:

The Engineering team discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements, or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.

This role in summary:

As an Associate (Sr Engineer), the individual is expected to work in the Laundry Lab. They should create daily test plan and also execute the testing as per plan. Ensuring the ongoing testing is as per standard. Analysing and reporting the test data and giving results to the lab supervisor and also to discuss with customers. Handling, Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance of all equipments. Co-ordinating with suppliers for lab material purchasing. Documentation related to different certification audits(like ISO 17025, BIS, CTF). Maintaining 5S and workplace safety.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Good in understanding interfaces of component and system level.
  • Knowledge in Controls and Electrical.
  • Knowledge in Lab view program & Arduino for data collection, acquisition system.
  • Understand home appliance standards of IEC, IS, EN, ISO, etc.
  • Knowledge in NABL Standards
  • Perform the test as per standard and report closureAutonomy in using Lab equipment
  • Should have analytical skills in problem findings
  • Basic understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles and methodologies
  • Own and meet the 5S principles and requirements in their desired labs.
  • Collaborate with CI Engineers to move from idea generation to idea implementation.
  • Maintenance of lab equipments, consumables and budget tracking
  • Work with suppliers on lab capability development.
  • Coordinate with CFT and follow the process for all new development

Minimum requirements:

Education: Engineering Degree in Electrical/ Electronics/Instrumentation

Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience

Preferred skills and experiences:

TECHNICAL:

Good Knowledge in fundamentals of Instrumentation

  • Excellent Knowledge of google (ppt., word, excel, etc)
  • Basic FMEA
  • Identify risk areas during validation, lab equipment, different supporting systems and take necessary actions.
  • Monitor ongoing tests for all test requirements.
  • Monitor and analyse test data before reporting to customers.
  • Autonomy in using Lab equipment.

MANAGERIAL:

  • Participate in Lab Stand up meetings
  • Communicate with Supervisor, peers and V&V Engineers, Stakeholders and Suppliers(it requires good English communication skills)
  • Discussion with counterpart from other region
  • Communication skill and English knowledge
