Job Description

The Design Engineer supports the planning, design, and development of CAD software applications, design methodologies, and supporting utilities, working across engineering disciplines to create effective design specifications, improve CAD workflows, and ensure the timely development and deployment of subsystem and product designs within architectural and hardware constraints.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Work on New Concept Design, New Inquiries, Modification of Existing Product as per Customer Requirement (25%).

Prepare detailed Project Documentation, design Calculations, Simulation, Tolerance Stack up, and technical documentation per APQP Project Plan (35%).

Proto Sample Build per customer Requirement, Customer Warrenty Visit & Action plan Define (15%)

Tool Design Review, Mould Flow to guide Supplier for Tooling, Conduct Product Trials (10%).

Support Testing & Validation at Internal Or External Lab (10%).

Collaborate with geographically dispersed engineering teams to coordinate the design, fabrication, and deployment of subsystem products and ensure alignment with project requirements (5%).

Representative Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field

4–6+ years of experience in design engineering, CAD development, or engineering software applications

Experience defining design specifications, CAD workflows, and supporting engineering utilities or programs

Knowledge of mechanical design, materials science, environmental testing, and reliability or failure analysis

Ability to evaluate vendor capabilities and specify hardware, materials, or tools to support project needs

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and design documentation skills

Effective communication skills for collaborating across diverse, distributed engineering teams

Ability to manage multiple design tasks in a dynamic engineering environment

Commitment to continuous improvement, cross-functional teamwork, and high-quality design practices
